I was sitting on my back porch again. Argos had his head in my lap and I was scratching between his ears. He seems to like that. For a wild animal he is surprisingly gentle. At least with me. I don’t think a rabbit would be so lucky. I was telling him about my date with Luther and my first kiss. Crap I’m sure his wolfy mind didn’t care about. Then Luther showed up and asked if I wanted to go to dinner. “ Luther, I want you to meet someone. Now don’t freak out. He won’t hurt you. I promise.” I said to him. Luther looked skeptical but followed me. I introduced him to Argos. I thought for sure Luther would think I was weird. Or weirder than I already am.

Or Luther would tell me I’m nuts for being friends with a wild animal but he just went with it. I showed Luther how sweet Argos is. And Argos stayed by my side the whole time.
