Chapter Seventy Eight; Ambulance

“Yeah. It’s a whole mess.” I said. Kola was usually the person I confided in but I came to Tunde now because I felt like Kola hated Ama. It was beginning to look like that was not the case.

“So where is she?” He asked.

“Saint fucking Mark’s” I spat. It irked me so much that she was in that dreadful hospital.

“What in the actual hell? What in the world made you take her there? Do you remember how they almost killed me in there?” Kola said. Once again blaming me.

“Her brother took her, not me. I would never risk her life like that. And before you say anything her brother isn’t a Lagosian. He doesn’t know what hospitals are good and what ones aren’t. So I don’t blame him. That was the one closer to their house. We have to get her out of there and to a better hospital to do the surgery. If she doesn’t wake up they have to do it anyway. So we have to take her to a good specialist here in Nigeria.” I narrated.
