CHAPTER NINE

MABEL’S P.O.V

I headed back to Charlotte’s room to fetch her after her father the king had started making a scene about her absence. It was almost noon and festival was already coming to an end.

Although the villagers were all around as they have not seen the princess and this year’s festival was majorly about her. It was her coming of age ceremony which coincided with her heat period and her birthday too.

The whole palace had been prepared for this great day. It was beautifully decorated and there was lots of exotic food to eat and drink.

Those in charge of music was at their best with all kind of musical instruments.

The flute players were my best as they released the most beautiful sound I have ever heard.

All the dragon men in the clan were present. All waiting to be chosen by the princess as a mate.

“What the hell is wrong with the princess?” The prince asked with fury and wrath waiting to be unleashed on the nearest person.

“I left her in her room.”
