Confusion
Nyra is sitting in her office, after disconnecting the call from Anna. She is in shock.
"Drake is my mate"

She keeps repeating that on and on, to digest the fact.
She remembered every single instance where he could have told her the truth. But he didn't. He toyed with her emotions, all the while knowing that he is my mate. The one who took me on that night in a haze.
'Caroline drugged him' she now remembered the words Roland spoke to her once.
She is feeling like an idiot for not connecting the dots earlier.
'Drake, I have a mate' she protested so many times, with guilt.
'We can cross that bridge when we get there ' he said, instead of telling her that he is her mate.
