Misunderstanding
Nyra couldn't sleep that night. Partly because of what Anna revealed, and partly because, she got so used to sleeping beside Drake. Now sleeping alone feels like a punishment.
'You are getting awfully attached to him Nyra. What if his mate returns from where ever she is?' her subconscious reminded her.
That is what bothering her the most. If his mate is out there somewhere, and if she finally decides to return to him, then what will she do.
Moving away from Drake is the ethical thing to do, for everyone involved. But what would happen to her?
She has to learn to live without him. Staying with her grandmother would be the best thing to do.
