Chapter 22

Megan slept last night, with difficulty, as her mind kept wandering around Alex, and she wondered why. She had received an email concerning her flight tickets to France by 11 am, and it was ten o'clock in the morning already.

She contemplated between packing last night or this morning, and there she was doing the latter.

Megan walked downstairs to have breakfast with her family, her dad had finally returned. She could not help but wonder if he treats his other family the same way he treats them.

“Good morning Dad” Megan greeted as she pulled out a chair, taking a seat, she had used a muffler to wrap her neck, so the bruises wouldn't be seen.

If Enzo or Loyd gets to see it, it is going to stir up trouble, war, and wrath. Megan didn't want this, as she had plans of her own to get back at Greg.

“Good morning, I got a call that your flight arrangements to France have been made. Is that so? “ Mr. Leonard asked directly.

“Yes, I was going to tell you, I leave by ten thirty” Megan repli
