Chapter 56: Midnight Adventures 2

They are here, and the king wasn't back yet. I felt a bead of sweat cover my forehead. It was a cold night, but I was starting to feel hot.

The scary looking men walked over to the counter and sat a few seats away from Aurora. I looked side to side, wondering when the king would arrive. I felt a hard gaze on me and I unconsciously shivered. Sensing the direction, I realized that it was one of the men from the gang.

I could just leave, but where would I go? And the king ordered me to not move an inch. But my senses were telling me that this could go wrong. I was completely surrounded by men.

"Do you need some company sweetie?" One of the gangsters asked. He had a wicked gleam in his eyes and I almost shrinked into my seat. I summoned all of my courage and said; "No, I'm fine." My tone is much stronger than I expected.
