Chapter 57: Midnight Adventures 3

The meeting was over and I sighed a breath of relief. I was a table away from them, although I pretended not to listen to them, I heard every word they said. That is why I am here, to be a witness for the king, in case of any eventualities.

When I realized they were done, I nearly jumped off my seat. I did not want them to see how much in a hurry I was to leave, so I tried to conceal my eagerness.
