Annoyed

I struggled to open my eyes but I felt this nagging need to drink some water. I guess that's what awoke me in the first place.

My heavy eyelids fluttered open and I finally opened my eyes, taking in the environment around me. A second to my survey told me that I was back in the castle and in Gideon's chamber to be precise.

My eyes moved to the bedside table near me and a glass of water was sitting there.

With my shaky hands, I reached for the glass but my grip was not tight making the glass slip past my hands.

The shattering of glass echoed in the room and that's when the door was pushed open, revealing Gideon in all his glory.

He had a panicked expression on his face as he strode to me.

I smiled at him and he smiled back.

" You are finally awake." It was more of a comment than a question. I nodded my head.

" Trying to get some water?" He Inquired and I nodded.

" Let me help you." He offered and I smiled in return.

Gideon retrieved another glass before filing it with water and present
