Strange lady

My heart was thumping loudly as I kept racing through the woods.

" Don't let her escape." I heard their voices. They were fast approaching.

I could not let them catch me, not today so I kept racing.

I stumbled and fell down, my body rolling on the ground severally before I managed to stop.

Picking myself up, I ignored the pain in my whole body as I continued to escape.
