Jade Mitchell POV

"So, Emily kicked you out, and only now you come to me? You don't even know me," he said, looking at me seriously.

"Look, you're my father. I just want a place to stay tonight; tomorrow I'll talk to my mom," I said, making the saddest face I could muster.

"You can stay, but it doesn't mean I see you as a friend or daughter, so don't try to start a conversation. Don't leave until I get back." With that said, he left for good, slamming the door.

Luke had given me information that the girl was in the attic. I went up there, and as expected, the door was locked.

I used the key that Luke's security friend gave me and managed to open the door. The girl was unconscious on the floor, and she was too heavy for me.

I sent a message to Justin: "Change of plan, enter the house, the girl is unconscious. The security guard will help us get out."

After that, it didn't take long for Justin to come to me, and it didn't take us long to get out of that place. I don't know why everythin
