chapter thirty-six.

Two days later, Emily's POV:

We spent these past two days at the hospital; today the boys were discharged, and since then, we've been in the warehouse, the only safe place. I entered the room where they were, and I saw two suitcases full of money, a map, and some fake documents on the table. They were discussing something about the business being stable in Atlanta and how it would complicate things to move to another city.

"This gang is too powerful, and your name is a bit tainted, Tyler, no chance of going to Jacksonville," Josh said, marking an X on the map.

"We could go to a rural area, but honestly, we only have this much money, and to stabilize, we'd have to get our hands dirty, and we're not in a position for that," Justin added, marking Xs on five areas of the map.

"And we have a baby on the way," I said, getting their attention.

"Don't worry about that, love," Tyler said, coming to me and sealing our lips.
