Extremely Gentle?

What was this man talking about?? He went on and on on his own monologue as if forgetting she was there. Rose looked around her while the man continue to speak.

“Say do you know that there are not many things that could vitally wound werewolves?” The man spoke when she caught at the corner of her eyes was a candle holder that had sharp ends.

She looked back at him, “That bullets you had from earlier?”

“Oh? So you indeed know magic?” He chuckled as if taking her previous statement as a funny jester to trick him.

“No, I don’t. So that was magic that you used on that bullet?” She questioned, that would mean there is many magician… no sorcerers in this world who are like him? Who knows how to kill werewolves?!

“Close but wrong. Do you know how magic is close to science? There are some people who learn science but was suspected as a witch and got killed,” he continued, “Sadly those people had killed the wrong people.”
