“I might be wrong however!” Josie quickly said, “I did wake up suddenly so I might have misheard it.”

“I will have al the servants asked,” Shawn said at once.

“No! I don’t think it’s necessary,” responded Josie only to see Shawn whispering to the butler and the latter disappearing, as though ready to scold the servants.

“Sometimes there are servants who do not follow the orders that are given, it’s a must to scold and punish them,” said Shawn firmly. “As you say, I don’t believe in ghost but to see you panic that you’d fall from the staircase, I believe it’s more than a simple hallucination.”

Josie didn’t know how the castle work but Shawn’s words made sense to her. She nodded her head, agreeing to his words.

“I’m sorry again,” Josie whispered when she looked at his ankle that had been bandaged.

Shawn smiled, “As long as you are safe that’s all that matters to me. You can’t sleep?”

“A little,” she answered, taking a seat in front of him. “What are you working on?”
