Silver Wolf

Rose was confused why the man had released her and she could only glare at him warily. The man on the other hand was calm as he looked at her. He turned his face to the side to where the men had ran to as though he could see them through the walls.

He turned back to look at her again, "What are you waiting for? Still not going?"

Rose slowly pushed herself from the floor. She didn't understand. Why is he letting her go? Was this a trap? She carefully made her way to the door but the man didn't move. Taking the chance, with a gulp of cold air, Rose ran with her life depend on her legs to leave the small hut she was kept captive at.

What met her when she rushed outside was the forest. The night was dark that it was impossible to see the moon. She didn't know where she was. There was a lot of forest in Essex and in her entire life, she mostly spent her time back in her village.

The uncertainty of her path scared her but Rose knows better the men would take her life if she comes back. She
