Washed Off

Rose couldn't scream. She felt as though the deep sea had swallowed her, pulling her into the depth of abyss as all her sight was covered in black. Even though she had never fallen deep enough into a large surface of water, the fear she felt caused her to shake like a leave. It was as though an old fear of her had been brought back to life when the person behind her had caught her by their hands.

Rose heard the person's breaths against her ears that send her disgust. Even though she felt pleasant to hear Dominic's breaths, this person's heavy breathing only made her worried.

Without a second thought, she had bite into the person's hand, sending him to grunt in pain.

Rose who managed to release herself from the man ran toward the door only for her hand to be pulled. The man's finger wrapping around her wrist was unyielding and her face became pallid.

The room was dark as the curtain was closed. Rose's eyes tried to adjust to the darkness until her breaths hitched, "Mr. Harding?"
