Madison’s POV. At that point, it was a silent trip home because I turned off the radio so I could take my mother’s call. I was still looking outside the window when Tyler turned the radio on, and the music playing caught my attention. “I love this song. Nice song; it reminds me of my school days. Andy’s POV. I was so excited to go see my girlfriend. She hasn't been picking up my calls since today, and like I told Maddy, she has been displaying some funny attitude. I know everyone tells me to ignore it, but deep down, I know something was wrong. It was unusual of her to be giving me an attitude like that.We talk often, and sometimes we do not talk too much; we just text each other, but this time, she wasn't responding to my messages or to my calls. Finally, a woman's voice came on the line. "Hello, this is the police station; how can I help you?” Tyler cleared his throat and spoke into the phone. "Hi, I'm calling on behalf of my friend, Madison Byers. She's worried about the status of a case you're investigating. It's about her sister, Gem.” "Can I have the victim's name and the case number?” The woman asked, her voice calm and professional.
