I walked out of work, my handbag close to my side and smiled. Sebastian’s car was directly outside and I felt my heart flutter. I opened the passenger door and he looked over at me, putting his phone back in his pocket.

“Hey” I said quietly, putting my seatbelt on.

“How was work?” Sebastian asked me, starting to drive. I looked him over, wearing his usual dusty work tracksuit.

“It was okay” was all I said. I had a rubbish day, but Blake was usually the person I spoke to when I needed to off load.

“What happened? Tell me” Sebastian’s voice was soft and I jumped when he put his hand on my knee. I shook my head, he didn’t want to hear it. “Ollie, what happened?” His eyes flickered over to me and I smiled. Maybe he did want to hear it. “Talk to me” he said again when I didn’t respond.

“I just had a bit of a rubbish day. That's all”. I squeaked out.

“Someone died?” Sebastian guessed correctly. Stuff like that never got easier, I had been a nurse for three years and end of life care was my speciality. You think I would be used to death, but I wasn’t. I nodded and Sebastian ran his hand up my leg, making me shiver. “One of your patients? You were with them?” He asked me.

“Yeah, they didn’t have any family”. I shrugged. Sebastian moved his hand to change gear and grabbed my hand once he had finished, our fingers intertwined. I closed my eyes, feeling his warm strong hand in mine.

“You should be proud of yourself, you helped someone move on. It’s amazing Ollie, I’m proud of you”. His words made my eyes water and I kissed the top of his hand, turning to him and I watched the smile creep over his face.

“Thank you. I feel better”.

“Good” was all he said. I did, Sebastian was more blunt and to the point. Helping with emotions wasn't really his thing but my heart was full that he really tried and that was what made me feel better. I wasn’t going to tell him that obviously. Sebastian pulled up outside Blake’s house and as we got out of the car I spoke.

“Is Blake home?” Looking at Sebastian’s face I regretted the question instantly.

“Yeah” he mumbled, locking the car as we walked over to the front door. Sebastian turned to me and we stared at each other, neither of us attempting to go into the house. Something told me I wanted an extra two minutes, alone with him. His beautiful smile spread across his face and I felt he wanted it to.

“Can we, maybe" I stuttered out. Not sure what to say.

“Can we?” he asked, chuckling.

“Can I have a kiss?". I said instead. I wanted to ask him if we could go out, the two of us but panic set in before I could fully say it. Maybe tomorrow Olivia. Sebastian grabbed me by the waist and pulled me closer to him, I took a deep breath in, smelling him. His eyes flickered to my lips and I went on my tip toes. Closing my eyes as Sebastian kissed my lips gently, slowly moving his tongue into my mouth. I nearly collapsed on him, his tongue travelling the whole of my mouth. This kiss felt different, romantic, not a word I would describe him. As we pulled away we both had stupid grins on our faces.

“Come, let me make you some food". Sebastian said, opening the door. As we walked in I could hear Blake singing in the kitchen. I chuckled as I took my shoes off, I could feel Sebastian behind me.

“Hey" I said to Blake as I walked in. He was dishing up some food onto three plates.

“Ollie, dinner is served. How was work babe?” He asked and I took the plate he handed to me.

“I thought I was going to cook dinner?” Sebastian asked him and I felt my whole body tense.

“I just did it. You were picking Olivia up. I don’t mind". Blake shrugged, passing Sebastian his own plate.

“I do.” Sebastian said firmly. I put my hand on his arm.

“It’s fine, Blake, thank you for dinner. Bash thank you for picking me up.” I looked at them both. “So can we stop the who has a bigger dick and eat please? ''. I turned on my heel to Blake’s living room. For best friends they were always at each others throats and it fucking irritated me.

“We know who has the biggest dick anyway". I heard Sebastian mumble and chose to ignore it.
