Chapter 26: Decision
As soon as he enter the woods just behind Crescent Moon, he knew Shaun is around. He can smell the anxious scent Shaun is giving off. An anxious, frustrated and desperate kind of smell. A scent he never smelled before.
He knew something was off. Shaun was never the type to ask for him. He avoids doing that as much as possible. He wants to do things alone without seeking for anybody’s help, even from Grey and Priam. That’s what Shaun is like.
But this is different. Something in his scent tells Grey, that Shaun is bothered and troubled by something. To the extent that he would want to ask help from him. Something about the pressure and anxiousness in the air makes Grey tremble out of nervousness.
"This is absurd. What the hell is happening?" Grey thought to himself, playing with his fingers.

Love conquers all, they said. But if a monstrous, blood thirsty beast like me is the one who falls in love, can I really conquers all with only love in my hands? Would our love take away all the fear she would feel upon seeing a beast right before her eyes. I doubt it. I have seen it before. Love is not enough. When one see someone or something beyond their imagination, a beast for example in front of them, one could easily toss away all the things they have gone through. It has been written in our very soul who we are destined to be with. We can’t toss them aside not unless they tosses us first.
