Chapter 30 Behind You!

The water’s cool temperature seeped into my wet suit the moment I was ejected from the submarine. I believe the only dry thing on me is my hands, which were being protected by my combat gloves.

My lungs have gotten used to the fact that I could breathe underwater that I could no longer cough or hold my breath to allow it to adjust to the transition. Now, it was one swift process.

At the corner of my eyes, I saw Trei gesturing for us forward. We swam towards him until he lifted his hands for us to stop. He pointed at something ahead and we saw a boat passing over our heads. Trei waved for our attention again and pointed downward.

We nodded and followed Trei deeper into the water so we wouldn’t be able to attract any unwanted attention. Especially since we were with our blue friend over here.
