Shocked surprise
When Emma raced down, leaving Elijah and Lizzie in her room.
"Where is she going in a hurry?" Elijah asked Lizzie
Lizzie looked scared to death.
"Boss just came home," Lizzie said in a small tone.
Elijah gulped audibly with fear.
If Emma is racing down in a hurry to welcome home, then she must be scared of the boss more than we are. Poor girl, I pity her. How can see live under the same roof as the boss and live peacefully? She will die of heart disease or high blood pressure soon.
The pressure of being with the boss for just a few minutes is enough for me to give me nightmares. Poor girl, she must suffer from them daily basis, Elijah thought sadly.
"I feel sorry for Emma. It's not easy to live with the boss. A small mistake from her side and he might punish her harshly. She might be sweating bullets now" Elijah voiced out loud.
