Farah already had her mark and I audibly gasped as I took it in. My jaw must have been on the floor as I remained staring at it, I knew marks resembled their mates, who ultimately complemented them to the fullest, but it was the perfect shade of blue for her.

 “It’s not fully healed yet, that takes a few days,” she moved her shirt over slightly to reveal the whole mark.

“I knew it! Spill Farah, spill now!” I demanded.

I knew what marking and mating entailed, but it was somehow still such a mystery, something that was unique to each wolf so it was something that no one could quite explain properly.
