Creed left me and Kris alone together. I could tell he was not happy about me sharing so much with my best friend but said nothing about it because he knew how important she was to me. "Are you going to reverse it?" She asked and I just stared blankly at her. "El reverse it. You can have your life back."

"But Eleanora you don't even know what you two are to each other."

It had been three days since our trip to Phoenix. It felt good to see Kris again. Creed and I never spoke about what our relationship meant after that day. I knew his reasons for trying not to get too close to me but every time I saw him I felt my body gravitate to him. It's like I had blinders when he was in my line of vision I focused on nothing but him and for a moment he looked at me the same until he came back to a sense of reality and walked away. That part always felt like my heart was being torn into a million tiny pieces. I hated the fact that he pushed me away. It was agony I never felt before. I panted as I tried to keep up with Hera. We were running along a trail in the forest. It was a part of my training to strengthen my core. According to the other wolves, if I exercised regularly and stretched the shift wouldn't be that hard on my body. A week had passed with everyone falling into a comfortable routine. I sat outside with May and Mia while I watched them play peekaboo. A few months later and our packhouse was rebuilt even bigger and stronger than before. He killed them all. It was never in his nature to take any prisoners. He thought nothing of it as he ran his blade across the necks of the young and old. It was unusually quiet at the diner due to the relentless storm that raged on outside.
