A couple of hours later, Asheron also arrives at the tea room carrying a pink gift box. I almost jump out of my seat and run towards him, but I remind myself that I have to be cool, especially with him. He's the one who made me the most upset.

"I'm going to Kallistar, my brother wants to talk to me," Cain tells me, getting up from his chair. He approaches me, "Can I have a goodbye kiss?"

"Just one on the cheek," I reply because I have to be tough. Cain gives me an annoyed look and even rolls his eyes, but he gives me a wet and noisy kiss on the cheek, "God, you're such a dog."

"I'm your dog," he says with a smile before walking towards Asheron. When he reaches him, he grabs Ash’s face and kisses him on the mouth, which Asheron immediately reciprocates. I can only look at them, wishing I could just join them and throw my dignity out the window, but the kiss ends a few seconds later and Cain throws me a satisfied look, "That's what you missed, G."
