First One

The next day, I am finally allowed to meet my own pack. It’s been a long time since I felt nervous about speaking in front of a lot of people, but I’ve never had to speak in front of people who are rebelling and who hate us, so I’m not the calmest I’ve ever been.

I worry more than usual about my appearance and once I’m happy with my matching tweed set and perfectly straight hair, we start our journey to Fox.

Cain and Asheron look just as nervous as I am, so I’m expecting to see a disaster when we arrive at Fox.

I hate having this kind of prejudice, but packs outside the council don’t have the money to improve as much as they could, so they are usually… ugly. So I’m one hundred percent expecting to see a the pack in shambles when we enter the territory, but it’s actually not bad.
