Hearing her words, the look on Hardy’s face was so pitiful and sad, that it even pained my heart despite everything he had done. The realization that dawned upon him on the verge of death that he had gotten betrayed by the one person that he was supposed to trust the most was frightening and heartbreaking. He muttered something, but his voice had grown to a whisper. He did not have any strength left to even utter a word.

Olivia curled her lips in disgust and walked out of the prison cell. Hardy, who was now covered in a puddle of his own blood, fell unconscious on the ground and then a couple of minutes later, his ragged, quick, uneven breathing stopped. He succumbed to death.

I felt so sorry for him. He loved Olivia so much that he had lost his life for her.
