Chapter 8

Last night, I agreed to be Kaleb's and he ravished my body until I couldn't take it anymore. He didn't lie when he said I'd be begging him to stop. The fire had gone out some time while we were sleeping and I was freezing when I woke up. I'm glad we have the thermal sleeping bags.

We had arranged the blankets and pillows into a makeshift bed on the floor next to the fire. I stand up out of the sleeping bag and I regret wearing shorts and a tank top to bed. It's so cold. I grab a throw blanket off the couch and wrap it around me as I run upstairs to Lily's room. I open my suitcase and pull out thick sweatpants, fluffy socks, and a wool sweater. I throw them on and feel warmer, but it's still very cold in here. We need to get the fire started again. I grab the blanket and head back downstairs just as Kaleb is sitting up from the floor. He's shirtless and I can see all his muscles on display.
