My stomach twisted into a knot. I was hoping this wouldn't happen so soon.
"What happened?" I asked, still hoping I was wrong about everything.
"I came home early from work and found Jessica in bed..." Ansel sighed. "With another man."
I gasped. This was worse than I thought. I thought Ansel simply found out about it. But seeing it in his own eyes...must've been so horrible.
"Ansel, I'm so sorry!" I cried.
"We just got married," Ansel shook his head. "It hasn't even been a month yet." His face was red. His eyes were burning with rage and despair.
"I'm so sorry, bro," Connor looked at him with sympathy.
