I blinked three times when Royce suddenly placed his hand above Mitch's head. The perks of being tall. "You're a ball boy now. Pick up all the balls." He said, which almost made my heart drop.
The tone of Royce's voice was dry. How could he say that to Mitch? I've been noticing this, but Royce is only cold and distant towards Mitch. I don't know why, but Mitch has been working hard. He didn't deserve that punishment.
Yet… I couldn't say anything or defend Mitch like he is when it comes to me because I don't really know what happened between him and Carlos. And even if I did, I'm too much of a coward to say anything.
