Chapter 83 - A Date With a Knight?
"Isn't that great? Don't worry about us, Alexis. You should go." Zaki said as they all made me go towards Ezra. I'm not even worried about them; I'm worried about myself. With that, Ezra held my arm and gently pulled me to wherever he wanted to go.
"W-Wait."
Ezra stopped walking and turned to me. His smile didn't vanish as he tilted his head. "What is it?"
"I… I want to watch Miss Ravenwood pageant."
Ezra's eyes widened as if he just remembered it now. "That's right! How dare I forget about it. Let's go and support Mitch." I nodded to what he said, and the two of us made our way towards the gymnasium.
However, he still didn't let go of my arm! Why is he not letting go? Does Ezra think that I might run away from him? Am I a prisoner of his or something like that?
