32: The Date

Clayton was true to his words. He visited the shop and my apartment every single day and the week fled in a blur. An exhausting blissful blur.

From the moment I woke up to the moment my head hit my pillow. The days were filled with baking and serving all the time. And my evenings were spent with Calvin; catching up on his day at dinner and reading his favorite kids' book to him before bed.

Also, Clayton was coming by to enjoy our company. We have begun to understand each other more and the level of understanding I had with him in the past few days was more than I had with Alan.

My mom however, texted and called occasionally during the week. She couldn't shut up about Clayton. She kept asking questions about my mate and to shut her up, I told her about our upcoming date.

Today was Friday and also our date night. Vivian and I drove back to our apartment and strolled into the room where the nanny was with the kids.
