Watching the storm

"No!" The young man screamed as all the bodyguards pointed guns at him.

The wind blew their clothes and hair out under the open clear blue bright sky on a high flat roof of a six storey building which was the only building at the area and at the seaside.

Furthermore, on the wide roof were four helicopters, three were black and empty since the bodyguards were focused on threatening the man. While in the red helicopter, was a being of authority who watched the bodyguards point their guns at the helpless looking man who was hugging a silver suitcase with his knees on the ground.

The fear was visible in his dark eyes and the bodyguards looked like they weren't going to show mercy to the man.

"Please... Please" The man begged but they didn't flinch even as tears rolled down the helpless looking man's eyes.

The bodyguards at the sides of the helicopters stood like statues waiting for orders.

"Just hand it over" One of the bodyguards growled at the man who whimpered.

"Cut the bullshit and obey!" Another yelled.

"Enough!" An authoritative voice echoed from the red helicopter as the door opened.

The bodyguards dropped their guns after seeing his sight. His ocean blue eyes filled with blood lust, his long dark as night hair was braided into one while some short strands fell to his forehead, his well sculptured face was exposed which rhymed with his perfectly sculptured muscular body.

His glare was dangerous as he stepped out of the helicopter letting his domineering and menacing aura to fill the place.

The bodyguards guarding the helicopter followed him behind as he walked towards the scene and without hesitation the bodyguards in his way cleared the path for him to walk towards the helpless man.

"Pathetic and courageous" He complimented the helpless man coldly.

The trembling man couldn't look him in the eye as he knew what was coming for him.

"Give it up and your death won't be painful, don't give it up and your death will be extremely painful" He told the helpless man with a calm voice and expression but fury and bloodlust were visible in those ocean blue eyes.

The man trembled and looked up at the amazing sight in fear.

His blue eyes glimmered murder evidently, his eyebrows rose up in astonishment as the helpless man was too terrified to utter anything from his trembling lips and sore throat.

"Damn!" He exclaimed with a hiss at the same time, rubbed his forehead in frustration which was a signal.

One of the bodyguards immediately grabbed the silver suitcase away from the helpless man thereupon, walked away to one of the black helicopters, two other bodyguards followed him but didn't enter because they were prepared to watch the next scene.

The helpless man was still trembling in fear and looked like he was having a panic attack but the being before him wasn't moved at all instead he kicked the man hard by his chest. The man immediately fell to the ground and vomited chunks of blood probably because all his chest bones were broken. The being further stepped on his head without putting much force on it. He looked at his shivering prey whose eyes were blood filled. A satisfied smile curved his heart shaped pink lips and with a deep sigh, further with a little force, the head of the helpless shivering prey smashed like a perfect soft tomato.

The bodyguards weren't surprised neither did they flinch. The being turned away from the body and walked towards the red helicopter.

"Clean that up and meet me in Florida." He instructed with a commanding tone then walked back into the helicopter at once without looking back at any one of them.

....

"There is a storm." Logan informed calmly.

Axel stared emotionlessly at the ocean which had gray clouds flashing lightning over it continuously. The wind engulfed Axel and Logan who were at the main room balcony which had the perfect view of the sea.

Logan was a vampire and the consigliere. He was a gentle vampire, a very great advisor and strikingly attractive too who had been with Axel for so many years.

"Do you believe in mermaids Logan?" Axel asked with a cold deep voice, the scene he was watching reflected in his dead emotionless ocean blue eyes.

Logan shrugged at the same time, his dark blood red eyes moved around nervously as he didn't expect Axel to ask such a ridiculous question.

"Answer me." Axel told with a commanding tone then moved an intense gaze to the nervous looking vampire.

"Should I reply with what is in my mind?"

"Yes." Axel replied sternly.

"I don't because it's actually a ridiculous belief." Logan answered confidently.

Axel's ocean blue eyes narrowed at the vampire who lost his confidence immediately and nervously bowed his head.

"If we exist, they can also exist... Do you know that a lot also think that our existence is..." He paused with a deep menacing yet soft chuckle.

"Ridiculous." He ended with a deep sigh then returned his gaze to the sea.

Logan looked at the Tribrid before him. He remembered how it was so ridiculous to him that a being like Axel existed and it always made him think that there were more like Axel out there. A Tribrid, half werewolf, half vampire, half witch. It had been so many years but he hadn't digested the shock at all.

"Is Jason aware?" Axel suddenly asked which obviously marked the end of the weird mermaid talk.

Logan's blood red eyes turned fierce.

"Yes of course, he will be. It is funny that he thinks that he is smart" Logan replied with a soft mocking chuckle.

A small devious smile curved Axel's thin attractive lips.

"Eventually, he is smart but not smart enough and he will never be smart enough." Axel uttered menacingly.

Logan smiled with satisfaction and nodded.

"Exactly, but do you always wonder what he would do?" He questioned curiously.

"I don't wonder, I am always countless steps ahead of him." Axel answered calmly.

Axel saw how the clouds over the ocean were getting darker and darker, dangerous and dangerous every minute. His ocean blue eyes narrowed with curiosity at the angry clouds which were threatening to pour.

"You can go, I need to be alone for the rest of the night so inform everyone not to disturb me no matter how important the reason or news is." He informed Logan without looking at him.

Logan nodded and walked away from Axel who didn't remove his gaze from the clouds as if he was hypnotized. He stared as if he was searching for something or someone. His heart was hammering and banging at an abnormal rate but stopped immediately he blinked. His lips parted slowly as if he wanted to utter a word but then he turned away, inhaled deeply and closed his eyes.
