I put up a hell of a good fight trying to stop the alpha and the warriors that I grew up with, trained alongside, and knew as well as I knew my own family from beating me. From beating my mates. Yeah, they landed several punches, but I gave as good as I got. Better in most cases. I had trained to be the beta all my life and I was supposed to be luna of this pack. I knew how to fight and I wasn’t going to stop until they left my mates and me alone.

I didn’t stop when he had Damien chained to the wall and began beating him.

I didn’t stop when he had my father chained to the floor and took a sledgehammer to his ankles, knees, and elbows.

By then, both Casen and Severn had passed out from the pain and had their own ability to heal stopped by the silver that was around their wrists and draped across their bodies. I was fighting to get to their sides and to keep them from being harmed any more.

It wasn’t until Severn’s mother was brought in by his father, his hand fisted in her hair a
