Chapter 4 - Casen

Two days later…

I wake up to the sound of my alarm at 5 am. It’s my usual wake up time to make sure that I can get some training in before my father wakes up at 7. Typically he has some inane request for me to complete before breakfast and we get to the office at 9. I like to get my day started on a good note before that asshole tries his best to ruin it.

I usually meet Rin and Damien down at the gym. Occasionally we’ll see Severn, when he isn’t away from the pack. He’ll greet us and then go off on his own. He really doesn’t interact with us, which makes it difficult to think about how we’ll all work together. He doesn’t even really talk to Damien and they both have already taken over their positions in our pack.

Rin hasn’t been at the gym for the past two days because of her birthday and then the start of her trials. Today is day two for her. I wonder if I’ll get to see her. We haven’t been able to talk alone since her birthday. There’s nothing more I want to do than fi
