Behind

Amber walked into the kitchen with Sophia trailing behind her.

"Are you being serious girl!" Sophia said.

"Please Sophia, I already said I'm not doing it, I love my life like this, I and my kids are happy and the kids aren't even asking me about their father, I've been taking care of my kids by myself for the past five years and I don't have a problem doing so." She stated, Sophia sighed.

"Alright then, I just thought...."

"I know you mean the best for I and the kids Sophia, but I wouldn't want to make the mistake of telling the truth to Xavier and what if he takes it the other way huh, if I go to jail or worse have my kids taken away from me, what will become of me then, these kids are my life, they're all I have and God forbid, if I loose my kids then I might as well kill myself and end it all." She said, trying to hold back her tears.
