Carissa stayed with me for an extra hour before she left and what we mostly discussed was centered around the things we loved to do back in Seattle, to take our minds off things. We shared the sweet blissful memories we had over there and missed them.

I wished I could go back but I was also secretly wishing that if we did, I’d want a different version of the Triplets to join us.

Carissa said she wouldn’t be able to stay for long because she had to clear things with her father. According to her, she had dreams while she was in this ‘bubble’ where she saw her heartbroken father on his knees, going to her graveyard every day and crying, begging his daughter to come back.

Mr. Watson is a terrible person, no doubt, but he was a father after all. She said she’d be with me for the day before leaving since she was a little afraid to leave me alone again. She didn’t say so but I knew what was going on in her mind.
