I haven't felt at ease since Rachel's sudden arrival yesterday. Rachel blamed me for Alpha Edmon still loving me so their marriage would not be romantic.

Rachel's words made me think of Alpha Edmon again. I sat on the edge of the bed and let out a harsh breath. My feelings for the man resurfaced.

The affection I had tried to get rid of earlier. But no matter how hard I tried, my affection for Alpha Edmon only grew.

I held my chest and stroked it lightly. During this time, I tried calming myself down so I wouldn't overthink about Alpha Edmon.

I still didn't want to accept that Alpha Edmon was married to Rachel, my step-sister. On the other hand, I couldn't be so selfish as to destroy Rachel's happiness just for the sake of my own.
