38: Annie's POV

Ansel leads us through the pack house, I can sense the council is not comfortable with being led around by what they view as children. 

We enter the meeting chamber, there is a large confrence table that seats about 50 in the center of the room. One wall is liner with couches, the other is lined with book shelves, most of which is empty. 

I walk to the far side of the room, and take a seat at the head of the table. I know as a woman I will make the council even more uncomfortable by running this meeting, but I also know that I am the one who needs to do this. 

I seat Ansel to my right, followed by Micheal, then I seat Paula on my left followed by Tom. Once they are settled, I address the council's of elders and witches, most of whom are still standing. 

"If you'd like to take a seat, we can get this meeting started. Ri'elle?" I pause, waiting for him to turn and look at me. "Can you make this room sound proof?" I ask him. He nods,
