9: Research
We enter the library on the first floor, after stopping off in the main kitchen for snacks. The children's room is full of toddlers, it is the young one's story time soon. As we enter a group of 8 little one's all about 3 or 4 years old, come running up to me, screaming with joy. I smile and drop to my knees, arms outstreched, the kids giggle as they collide with me in a big group hug. I love the children, I stop by the daycare a couple of times a week and play with them. They love that I will play pretty much any game they want me to.
I spend a few minutes talking to them,. asking about their day. They all talk over each other, telling me about the games they have played over the last few days without me, and the book's Miss Molly has been reading to them in the library today.

Ansel takes a deep breath before he answers "Well, my pack was very different when I was young, we mostly kept to ourselves. My grandfather HATED witches, so it was against pack law to work with one, they were not allowed on pack lands, if caught they were put to death. Other than that, we were very much like you, or at least, like what I have seen of your pack so far. We have a large mansion that was built in the 1950's where the ranked members live and work. We house the newly paired in what humans would call a guest house. It is basically 9 one bedroom apartments, once the newness wears off, we move them to either the pack house, or one of the 3 apartment buildings on pack lands. True love's first kill 14: TV time
Ansel sets up the TV, logging into netflix, then he turns to me and asks "What would you like to watch?" I take a moment to think about it anf then I say "Can we watch Supernatural? I don't know if you like that kind of thing but it's my favorite, and i could really use something comforting." He chuckles and tells me that he has never seen supernatural. "But i would be glad to watch it with you. Lets start it at the begining, that way we can watch the whole thing together... I want to share everything that you love, just as I want to share everything that I love with you... My stomach tightens with guilt at the look in his eyes. I want to tell him that i am sorry, but I don't get the chance. Suddenly his mouth is on mine, fierly hot and dominating. This is the first time that he has initiated physical contact, and the first time that he seems to be trying to show his dominance. "I understand... And that decides it for me. After we talk to Luna tonight we are leaving. First thing tomorrow morning we can talk to the guys, ask them to come with us. We can probably leave tomorrow afternoon... I would rather travel by night, we can sleep during the day. I think that would put us outside your pack territory the middle of the second night... Now, don't take this the wrong way, but i think we whould stay outside the pack, and watch for a day. I want to be sure what we are walking into, we should approach in daylight, IF it is safe." I already know about the gifts. So i skip ahead, looking for something I don't know yet. I see a pasage about hunters and now I am interested...Hunters: Hearing and sight 2 times that of an average human. Their smell is about that of an average human. While any human could have a grudge against supernatural creatures, and start hunting them. However those 'hunters' would just be average humans. True hunters are born of a specific bloodline.The origins of the hunters is not proven, but the story goes that the first werewolf to be mated to a human was an Alpha. His pack refused to acknowledge her as their Luna, instead they killed her. When the Alpha found her body he went into a rage. He took their 5 sons and went to a powerful witch. This witch granted them the power to track werewolves. All hunters now have the ability to track werewolves, they can track the aura or a werewolf, and sense that a werewolf has passed an area as long as a week later.
