Chapter 46: Breaking News; Horrific Crash, All Feared Dead

The night passed and Bryson didn't come home.

In the morning, Dede woke up from her sleep by the sound of her alarm. Her face looked puffy and her eyes were swollen from crying herself to sleep. She dragged herself out of bed to the bathroom. After taking a shower she dressed up ready for the office. She slept in her room so she didn't know Bryson was still not back. Dede stepped out of her room with no appetite for food. She went out the front door and down to the garage. In the garage, she saw a space between the parked cars. Bryson always has his cars lined up. Even though she had not paid attention to the number of cars Bryson owned, the space between the parked cars was something she didn't expect to see. Alex came downstairs a few minutes later with a frown on his face.

"Go back upstairs. The boss is not around," Alex said with a deep frown.

"Is it a break for the company?" Dede asked with no expression.

"You work directly with the boss. What will you be doing in his absence?" Al
