Chapter 45: Melissa in the Hospital

"Is there any other thing?" Bryson asked seeing Alex was still there after delivering his message.

"No, sir," Alex replied snapping out of his thought where his focus was on Dede.

Alex headed for the exit and Bryson stared at him exiting the rooftop. He did see how Alex was looking at Dede and also read the anger in his eyes which quickly changed to a neutral mood when he asked if there was anything else. Bryson moved his gaze to Dede and could tell from her body language she felt very embarrassed. He bent his knees and rested his hand on her thighs.

"Hey, you are an adult and you don't have to be embarrassed about things like this," Bryson said and planted a kiss on her forehead and hands before pulling her up with him.

The two exited the rooftop and returned to the next floor. They head for the bedroom and Bryson enters his room with Dede. She sat on the couch and Bryson fetched his phone from his bag and saw multiple calls from his mother. He dialled her number and waited for the c
