"Is the moon brighter from this side?" Benhail slid onto the high stool that was close to Emery.

"It is, you should take a look too." She smiled, her eyes focusing on the moonlight that lined in between the stars. She grinned, turning back to Benhail.

They locked eyes with each other for very long seconds, he smiled, reaching for her hand that was perching on her thighs.

"I couldn't get my mind off you today when I was at work. I wanted to come back to meet you and Mimi. How is she doing?" He rubbed his hand against her protruding belly.

"Mimi is great, she missed daddy too."

"Really? Did she tell you that?" He bent to position his ears on the tummy. "I can't hear her words."

"Oh, I think only mothers hear what babies want. Mimi has been screaming all day that she wants her daddy." Emery touched Benhail's head, raising it, she smirked at him.

"That's a lie, Emery." He gave her shoulder a light touch that caused her to giggle.
