DISTRACTED

The taxi pulled up in front of a five-star suite. Nefline couldn't keep her hands to herself. She kept whispering sweet-nothing to Dante, who seemed to be distracted. Dante got them checked into the most expensive unit. He could barely hold it together. Was waiting to explode, releasing the stress that has been building for a while.

"Time for more elusiveness," Nefline thought to her drunk self. "I better shower. Doing so will put me in a sexier mood."

He clasped her elbow with a warm, strong hand. "We are not an item. Don't misunderstand the situation. This is fun and nothing more. No emotions. No romance. And definitely no entanglement."

This book is unnecessarily long. it should've been atleast 50 or 60% of what it is. Damn it keeps going in circles about pointless dates and inductions. jeez! Summarize that sh*t!
