Chapter 56

“Let her go, Stacey,” Ronan said from the door.

Stacey’s grip loosened as she blinked rapidly, her eyeballs returning to its normal color before she finally removed her hand. She stood up from the chair and walked towards the door, ignoring Ronan who watched her walk out as she left them alone.

“You didn’t tell me you’ll have to provoke her to see if she can control her emotions or not.”

The priestess coughed out as she picked her jug and poured some water into the cup, downing it at a go before sighing heavily.

“What other way did you think we’ll get her to control her emotions?”

“Why can’t you use the happy ways? You’re using her sad past that she clearly does not want to remember to cover it up for her and you think she’ll listen? Those are past she doesn’t want to remember! You don’t have to force her to!”

“You’re even tampering with her memories, seeing things you’re not supposed to be seeing. You don’t have the right to that!” Ronan growled at her.
