“Brother?” Stacey called out surprisingly with a raised brow.

Lena stood up from the bed immediately, bowing to Stacey and wanting to walk out when Stacey grabbed her arm.

“So the alpha is your brother and no one knows about it? Why? What are you guys keeping? Why are you acting like a maid when you can be with him and you can stop living the maid’s life?”

“It’s complicated. You must not tell anyone, not even Ronan. He’s going to kill me if you know. It’s supposed to be a secret.”

Stacey nodded, pulling Lena back to the bed and seating her down. She dragged the chair from the makeup table and placed it in front of Lena, crossing her legs before looking at Lena.

“If you don’t want me to tell him, at least you can tell me why you’re acting like a maid and why it’s only Ronan that knows about you.”

“It’s complicated. You can't know about it. No one can know about it until it’s all done. It was a mistake, can't you just pretend you didn’t hear it?”

“Then I'll ask Ronan then.”
