Chapter 39
Finally, the surfing competition day has come to Evie. Early in the morning she warms up, cook herself the best breakfast to fuel her up for this day. After years of not competing, she's finally coming back. It excites her to the bones. The fact that Brieanna will be there to support her, it kind of gives her the obligation to show her little missy how waves are supposed to be ridden.
She glances at her wrist watch and it's time to go. Her things are all packed since yesterday for her convenience today. It's quite the mentality she has.
Hopping on her scooter, she puts on her helmet-- which she usually doesn't use at all-- and she drives off to the competition venue.
Approaching the entrance, she could already see Brieanna waving at her with William. Her face lighted up even more but when she noticed the grin of the other man standing beside Brieanna, her smile faded and replaced with a frown.

As Brieanna was going in for work, she meets Richard at the same spot. But unlike the usual, he was wearing a shirt that has sleeves. Usually he's half naked or wearing a sleeveless shirt.
