Gripping onto his shoulder she let him take her.

The next morning Ruby woke up. She took a shower and put on her dress. Walking outside she saw Eric. He was staring at the peach blossom tree. He had a cold expression as he stares at it.

“What are you doing?” asked Ruby.

“Staring,” replied Eric nonchalantly.

She didn’t understand why he was staring at it quietly.

“How long have you known this tree?”

“All my life.”

“Is it important to you?”

Ruby frowned at his question. Walking closer to him she said, “Yes.”

“So, this,” said Eric pointing to the tree, “is your Grandmother Willow?”

Ruby have a bad feeling. Clearing her throat she answered, “Yes.”

“Then I have no choice but to force your hand.” Eric grabbed Ruby’s wrist and pulled her behind him.

“What are you doing?” asked Ruby.

Eric pulled her into his embrace. He grabbed her chin and tilted it to the tree. “Look at this peach blossom tree. I want you to look at it closely."
