Chapter 46: Rumors of the Lucky Star

“What rumor?” whispered Kevin. Are they planning to hurt Ruby? Kevin will have to get to the bottom of this. Ruby was one of the reason they won the war, he couldn’t let her get harmed. He have to see the previous Emperor, Theo right away.

Eric hesitated to go into the tent. He knows he loves Samantha. They are considered an official couple so there should be nothing wrong. However, he felt wrong. He felt he would wrong someone if does this. But why?

Eric clenched his hands tightly together into a ball. He shouldn’t hesitate. He's not doing anything wrong. The one who loved him is here with him. That’s right, he shouldn’t deny himself of his woman. He walked into his tent trying not to think too much.

When he walked inside it was dark. Disappointed that Samantha was not in the tent, he turned to leave. Just then, Samantha came behind him and hugged him.

Leaning into his back she said, “I knew you come.”

“Of course, I will. You are my woman.”
