Clenching his hands together, Eric asked, “Grandfather why are you always doing this?”

“I’m just confirming the rumors.”

“And what do you get by confirming the rumors.”

“The truth.”

Eric frowned. If his grandfather confirmed the rumors that it wasn’t Samantha who started the rumors, then it just goes to show that the soldiers view Samantha as good luck.
