     Cassie called the office the next morning asking for me. I was wearing one of the white shirts she had gotten me and a crisp black pant.

     Charles had been startled when I got home the previous day sporting new hairstyle and clothes. I would never forget his reaction in a hurry.

     He was drinking juice straight from the container and the moment he laid his eyes on me, the contents of his mouth came flying out, luckily it was not in my direction. And then he had screamed my name.

     I laughed a little remembering it now. He had given me dinner when I was done telling my story, but he complimented my new look anyway. I left out the part where Cassie had kissed my cheek, I didn’t know what to make out of that yet.
